The Travelers’ Chorus

20140317-220447.jpg

This earth’s pilgrims, wayfarers
Aye, chasing time, here and there
Seizing every opportunity,
Showing they’re worthy dwellers
Of that regal, eternal City.

His Awaited Trip

20140313-231356.jpg

His eyes, bleary and tired
He closed them once to find
For a while some peace
Away from hustles and hurries
He opened them, only to see,
“Oh, I have missed
My most awaited trip!”
He cried, and did he mourn hard!
But the city wind whispered,
“Boy, wait you must,
And worry you must not.
It may be a trip not meant
For you to grasp and take.”
His eyes, once bleary and tried
He kept them open, he realized
“I have learned, faith we must;
Things happen accordingly
To those who believe and trust.”

A Jaded Heart’s Cry

let the tranquil sky,
the gentle breeze dry
your jaded heart’s cry.

let that cleansed eye see
that each of us has his
story of pain and agonies-

in time,
the sturdy trees
lose once
beloved leaves;

in time,
the sun is set to kiss
its flame goodbye,
it has to cease.

remain in faith,
be steadfast
while you wait.

lose not the will
to fight a good fight until
the end
for the greatest meed
awaits those who will
endure until
the very end.
